Amazon Prime Day is back this July! Here's what you need to know

Amazon just announced that it is bringing back its massive savings event, Amazon Prime Day 2025, sometime in July. The online retailer hasn’t announced the exact dates yet. However, in 2024, Amazon Prime Day ran from July 16 to July 17. For two days, Prime members saw incredible deals on everything from electronics to home essentials at some of the lowest prices of the year.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest summer sale events and veterans of this sale know it is the best time to grab deals across every category, from electronics and kitchen appliances to back-to-school gear, outdoor items, sleep products and more during the two-day event last year. 

Amazon hasn't announced the official July dates yet but plans to share more details soon as the event gets closer. This year Amazon promises deep discounts across more than 35 categories, including electronics, kitchen, beauty and apparel.

You must be an Amazon Prime member to access the deals, and you can find all the deals by visiting Amazon’s homepage or downloading the app. You can also visit Amazon’s Deal page to see the latest deals it is running. If you're not a Prime member, sign up or start a free trial to access Amazon's Prime Day savings. Prime membership costs $139 annually or $14.99 per month — and if you're a student, don't forget to take advantage of special pricing discounts on a Prime membership.
