The NBA postseason has entered the conference finals — the professional version of the Final Four.
Is it Oklahoma City's time to take over as top dog? Will New York finally see a title win after 52 years? Check out the odds for the NBA playoffs as of May 19.
EASTERN CONFERENCE
Pacers (4) vs. Knicks (3)
Season series: NY wins 2-1
Series winner: Knicks -145, Indiana +125
Game 1 odds: NY -4.5, ML: NY -180, O/U: 223
What to know: The Pacers-Knicks is an old-school NBA rivalry. Remember the Reggie Miller and Spike Lee moment? Both were underdogs in the conference semis, but the Pacers dominated Cleveland (4-1), and the Knicks had similar success against Boston (4-2). Each of the three games in the regular season resulted in a double-digit victory for the winning team, including a 25-point win for New York at home on Oct. 25 and a 13-point win for the Knicks on the road on Feb. 11. Of the players remaining in the playoffs, Jalen Brunson is second in scoring (28.8) and second in assists (7.7). Tyrese Haliburton is first in assists (9.3). The Pacers are one of 10 NBA franchises to have never won an NBA title.
WESTERN CONFERENCE
Wolves (6) vs. Thunder (1)
Season series: Tied 2-2
Series winner: Thunder -330, Timberwolves +265
Game 1 odds: OKC -7.5, ML: OKC -305, O/U: 217
What to know: The Thunder and Timberwolves faced off four times this season, with each team claiming two wins, and only once did a team win by double-digits — the Wolves by 15 on Feb. 13. Each team also has one win on the other's home floor. In other words, this is slated to be a slugfest. Of the players remaining in the postseason, SGA is first in points per game (29), while Anthony Edwards is third (26.5). The Wolves, like the Pacers, are one of 10 NBA franchises to have never won an NBA title.
